LessPass is an open-source password manager that uses the master password as well as the information that the user already knows to generate passwords for email accounts and websites. Unlike other password managers, LessPass is open source and does not require device synchronization. The passwords generated are never saved in the site's database. Besides, a pure function system is used on this site. Therefore, the user does not need encrypted files to save passwords. The user is only required to navigate to the tools. This allows password recalculation based on the info that is already known. LessPass makes use of sha-256 and PBKDF2 to generate passwords immediately. It can be used across diverse platforms, including Android, command-line interface chrome extension, among others.
