End of the Green Motion?

End of the Green Motion?

We hope it is not. However, coronavirus pandemic closed or restricted car rental services almost everywhere. Until recently, Uk was an exception due to prolonged government inactivity. Nowadays, cards have changed, and the United kingdoms are fighting one of the biggest crisis in Europe.

Green Motion is one of the better car rental services. They tried to provide eco-friendly cars and combine them with good low-cost models for people. However, they are also in trouble, and this is not the only case. Back in 2018, this company had rating problems on account of apathetic customers that demolished cars in many cases, and then in return of the owner, it was problematic. Still, Green Motion dealt with this problem, and their rating went up last year. Now they are fighting a more significant crisis.

However, they were not losing hope and proclaimed: "Unfortunately, public transport is likely to take a hit due to people being unwilling to travel in places used by so many people," he said.

"With the best will in the world, it's going to be very hard for train and bus companies to maintain the high standards of cleanliness that we need now.

"We anticipate that instead of flying, taking the train or coach, more people will opt to drive. For some, this means hiring cars. However, many of our customers are understandably concerned about the transference of infection.

"As an industry, we need to ensure that we are ready and that we have done our bit by ensuring the highest standards of hygiene."

They are not alone in these troubles, and firms like Enterprise.com, Thrifty, Europcar, Hotwire are waging the same war. If you want to help these companies and you need to go somewhere, over that you're quarantined, try to use their services instead of public transport. All guarantee a high standard of cleaning and disinfection of rented cars.
