Chrome is an open-source internet browser developed by Google. While Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google, opposed the launch of the Chrome browser, the company's founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page recruited a few Mozilla Firefox developers to build my beta and achieved great success. The Chromium bill, which forms the base of Google Chrome, is run under a BSD license. Taking advantage of the flexibility of the BSD license, it is open source and free software, but it can be used in the closed Google Chrome project. Google Chrome was first introduced in 43 different languages with a beta release for Microsoft Windows on September 2, 2008. Mac OS X and Linux versions were also developed.
